I have that exact one... And it does a great range for me. Also looks great when you out the free dji stickers on it ;-) but there are days when I am not paying attention and end up putting the windsurfers on the wrong way round so it faces me *slaps head* lol

I use them, not for distances but, for under 2 miles signal strength.

Well just gave them a try and though i am not a distance freak i got no green line signal problems (which i do all the time in this particular spot) rock solid feed from start to finish through 2 batteries. For £3.60 im quite pleased

I extended my range from 2 miles to 3 miles with this item and 3 miles is all I need. Well worth the $.

I ve just done the same, 5k out over water whereas I was getting 4K previous to the upgrade.
I still had max bars on signal strength when I RTH'd it on 58% battery life, landed with 18% left so I must have been flying into a headwind on the way out. Great value upgrade imo.
