Boscam channel help!

Ok - on both a Boscam ts321 with RC802 (Mine) and a TS351 and Rc805 (Old man) set up I have mis-matched channels. The Ts321 sends out on Channel 1 and the RC802 has to be on channel 5 to pick it up. The TS351 sends out on channel 1 and the RC805 on channel 8 to pick it up. Any clues other than it just being Chinese haha

Will the mismatched channels effect range?

I've noticed that too. I just found the one that worked best and leave it on that. I have 2 tx and can confirm that the tts353 is best on channel 8 and the receiver on 1.
