Both look great however can someone recommend a case to also hold the FatSharks as well as an ipad.
 
Just purchased that case (I think', on your recommendation). Darn nice case !
Yes, I love mine, had it for 3 months now. there are a couple of large "plugs" you can remove if you need to add additional accessories. I pulled one out to make room for a parabolic reflector and another for a large pill bottle with spare parts/pins, etc.
 
For hiking, you need a backpack that's easy to carry and can your accessories. Take a look at the Lykus backpack I use. It's a good balance between drone safety and carry comfortness. Drone and parts are put in the lower compartments; food and water in the side pockets or upper compartments.
