Best firmware to down grade to?

Since the newest 1.9.20 is garbage, I was wondering if there is a specific firmware to downgrade to that works best?

Could you go into a bit more detail as to what your looking for, and what you don't like?

My range is horrible and I’ve been told it’s probably due to the new firmware update. I’ve done the Magic Powers and also both the Argtek and Alfa antenna mods resulting in even less range. This is a brand new P3S and range has sucked right out of the box.

I also had pretty bad range in general on 1.9.20. Downgraded to 1.8.10 and noticed a big difference straight away. I was thinking of going back to 1.5.70 as some have stated that it is the best, but I decided to try that first because I believe you may also have issues with the DJI Go app if you downgrade that far back.
