Battery Charging Noise

Hi everyone,

I just bought a new battery for the Phantom 4 from Best Buy. I began to charge it and about 20 minutes into the charge, it started to make a low pitch noise. I unplugged it. My original battery has never made that noise. From reading other forums, it seems there's mixed reviews and what the cause is and if it's dangerous. I just bought the battery today so I'm thinking I'll just go back to Best Buy and exchange it.

Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Best buy return= 15 days. Never heard noise from my P3 batteries. If it concerns you, couldn't hurt to exchange it, unless you live hundreds of miles from the nearest Best buy.

Took it back to Best Buy, swapped it out. Fully charged up the new one. No high pitched sound during the charge. Good to go!
