OK, I'm stumped. I have two batteries and charged them both yesterday - each on the charger for approx 4 hours. Today?....not enough juice in either one to boot up the copter. What is going on?

Ok what phantom do you own. Also check the voltage with a multimeter and let us know the voltage afte 4 hours on the charge

I've got the Phantom FC 40.
There are NO flights on these batteries, they are brand new....I've merely started the motors numerous times trying to effect a maiden flight (but have run into various problems that have so far precluded that).

It appears that after 4 hours of charging, I have 5.37v
(The battery is marked: 2200mAh / 11.1v / 20c )

I'm not familiar with the specifics of DJI's balance charger but most LiPo chargers will not charge a 3S pack if it is below some where around 9v.
You can Google ways to try and resurrect them if in fact they are over-discharged.

All fixed. Batteries charging correctly. Copter lift off and stable flight achieved. All working as designed! Thanks for your guidance and help!!
