Batteries not powering on at all

Hey guys I have 2 batteries that I had on the dji cradle in storage mode that will not come on at all, I’ve held the power button down and no response I attached them directly to the charger and nothing any suggestions as what may be going on or how to fix this issue the batteries are less than a year old

I did that nothing is happening DJI said they are bad and that I need to buy new batteries

How old are they? How long since you last checked the level/attempted to power on?
