I work with the ZipLine crew as a VO. It’s definitely a drone albeit a much more sophisticated one that requires a crew lol. To get approval for BVLOS they’ve daisy-chained VOs essentially for every leg of the flight and we pass it off from one to the next. Until it reaches the destination then it turns around and comes back. The part that gets me is it delivers PPE in a super expensive way, nobody spoke about the elephant in the room during orientation but it would be much cheaper to pay one guy $20+/hour to drive it instead of 2 flights a day requiring 5 VOs lol.
