Will a DJI 3 fit into a case that's had the 2

Hi,
I know the DJI 2 case can have different configurations , but if I buy the DJI 3 will the body fit into the DJI 2

Depends on the case.

The landing gear are a little wider but will usually bend a bit to fit. However, the P3 is about a cm taller. It can't be fudged in this area.

While the Phantom might fit just fine in some cases, the remote controller will not. You'll have to increase the size of the cutout to make it fit.
