Whistle During Idle

All the posts here regarding a whistle or squeal sound from the P4P concern a motor or prop issue.

My brand new aircraft emits a high pitched whistle shortly after booting up and continues as long as it is powered on. It's not a motor or prop issue.

Is this normal?

- The phone was just a couple inches from the aircraft at start and then moved away to about 6 inches.

It's the cooling fan. Identical to my P4 and P4P.
