Which would you buy? P4P = $899 or a P4P V2.0 = $1499

I really wanted a Mavic sized drone with a 1" sensor but it seems like the new Mavic 2 Pro is a bit crippled and not as nice as the P4P.

Should I get the P4P at $899 (new) and maybe splurge for a Mavic Air as a portable/travel drone?

or get the v2.0 at list price or a deal? Or??

Thoughts?

The Mavic 2 Pro is a better drone with better image quality than the Phantom 4, so I'm not sure how that's crippled.

All the comments and photos I’ve seen do not show a better image. Some of the video results show barely better/worse than the Air / Mavic 1

Don't forget that the P4P has a mechanical shutter, Mavic does not.

Unless you are a Goggles user, absolutely not. In fact, many V2.0 users are experiencing yaw drifting and DJI doesnt seem to be in a hurry to release FW.

that $899 price. I have the P4P+ and the
original Mavic Pro.

We’ve got the P4P+, which is brilliant. So the P4P would get my vote, not least because of the price difference (and for what?).
