Where to install iOSD and anti-interference board

Esthetics aside, does it make any difference where I put the iOSD and board? Should I install inside the body of the P2, or can I just tape them to the belly of the P2. I know I have to open the body to plug the PNP cable for the TX and iOSD. Thanks.
