I downloaded the most recent DJI Assistant 2 for Phantom v2.0.6. When it completed the download, it said the download was successful and then it said to install the HoRNDIS installer, which said:
HoRNDIS is a kernel extension ("kext") that makes it possible to use your Android phone's built-in USB tethering support on your Mac OS X system. In order to use it, you will need:
• a Mac running OS X 10.6 or later (i.e., Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, or Sierra);
• an Android phone that supports USB tethering natively;
• and for the USB tethering feature on your phone to be enabled (either by your carrier, or through third-party firmware).
I'm using a Galaxy Note 8 for the DJI GO4 app.
Do I really need this HoRNDIS on my Mac?
Thanks
