Waypoint route starting point

Anyone know what happens if I start a way points route far away from the start point of the route? Say I am 1/2 mile from the fist way point and I launch the quad will the Ph 3 fly there and then start the route?

Yes... and it will give you a warning before starting. The P3 will also adjust it's altitude from it's current height to that at the first waypoint in a straight line while flying to that waypoint. If there is anything in between... it will hit it.

Edit: I think the Go app has a limitation on the distance waypoints can be set (500m?). So I think this can only be done using 3rd party apps.
