Warranty on used drone?

Hey guys. I'm looking into buying a used P3P. I was wondering if there is any way to buy a warranty for a second hand drone through dji or another service, or would I just have to work something out with the seller. Thanks!

Not through DJI, at least. It's possible a 3rd party might offer something like this, but I can imagine they might have a sizable deductible.

If you're in the US, State Farm offers cheap ($30-60/yr, no deductible - falls under personal articles policy) crash/fly-away insurance in some areas.

I was under the impression that buying a refurbished/used phantom through DJI gave you a full 12 month warranty (6 for the battery)?
