Two aircraft one remote?

Anyone out there running two aircraft on the same remote? I currently have the Phantom 4 Pro plus (white edition). Looking at purchasing the Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian edition aircraft only. Does anyone know if the aircrafts will have to be linked to the remote control every time I switch using them or will they link automatically? Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.
Side note , anyone have any new insight as to if and when the next Phantom will come out??

You will need to manually relink the remote controller each time you switch to a different aircraft.
