Travelling; Help on removing the landing gear for easier transport?

Hi,

I recently bought a Phantom 3 Standard. Have been enjoying it but have found it kind of bulky.
So far I've been putting it in a duffelbag and taking it with me on hikes.

In a couple of week's i'll be getting on a plane for Italy and am wondering if it is possible to easily remove the landing legs ?

Plenty of videos on how to remove the gimbal but can't find anything on the landing legs.
I have limited space for luggage and am trying to avoid to get one of those cases.

Any help or tips is much appreciated

Get a case.... removing and reinstalling isnt hugely difficult but will get tiring fast and you will wear out the screws (threads to be precise) and may damage connectors (almost guaranteed with frequent romoval/replacement)
