Swapping Controller Built In Screen

I have a P4A with the controller with the built in screen and I wanted to replace the screen with a bigger 7 inch android tablet. Can you remove it?

Not in an easy way. You need to open the controller and figure out how the screen is connected. You need a USB port to connect a tablet which may or may not be possible to add in the RC.
But I wonder why you would replace the screen with only a slightly bigger tablet. The built-in screen is twice as bright as a tablet and that makes a huge difference in visibility.

Buy a 300C or F remote and save the E (with screen). You can add a larger screen to your existing remote using the HDMI port.
I’m sure someone would gladly trade remotes too. Better than a teardown.

You can buy a 300C or F remote and save the E (with screen). Then get a Crystal Sky! I have one and it works great and can even be seen in Bright sun!

The visibility of the mobile device is terrible in a bright sunny day. A pro plus build in screen is completely other story. Very bright even in a sunny day. I would not change that.
