Nice composition, but really need to shoot raw and do some post processing. Too much contrast though. Raw will allow you to bring all the detail in the shadows back and add some punch to your photos.

Raw files, straight from the camera, have very muted colors and are pretty flat. Only through Photoshop or another application that can read CR2 files ( RAW files ), can you bring out the shadows and make the image pop. I rum a MAC, so I don't know what PC user use. Still, nice locations!

We seem to be the smoke magnet of the Pacific NW here in Coeur d'Alene, ID! I've not had a chance to shoot much, you can see why... All surrounding

states along with Canada are on fire.
I was able to take some shots over a lake near by of a beaver den in the midst of water lilies without the smoke showing.
