I've never been through customs with it but I would imagine it would attract some attention and I suspect I'd be asked to remove the sticker to avoid any future problems

So what can you suggest for us poor shleps who can't afford a case?! I was thinking of just keeping my new P3 in its box and packing it along in a big blue IKEA shopping bag.

I have one and its identical in terms of build materials as the OE DJI unit at four times the price (well, here in the UK anyway). I compared it to a DJI unit a fellow flier had; he couldn't believe the price and the quality. As for its longevity.... I've accidentally dropped from two feet onto concrete from the back of the car - twice now and not a scratch. Its travelled 8 times on a plane, 6 times on a train and dozens of times in the car. It's been opened and closed, packed and unpacked 100's times and it's still perfect condition. Nothing is disintegrating or failing. I was caught in a downpour in Ireland - I was soaked. The P3 was totally dry, so the seal on the zipped worked really well.

What are you guys using to store all your parts? I was using boxes, tool bags, now I've switched over to drawers. I got a lot of crap. Got a screw drawer to put connectors in, drawer for wires. I need to have my stuff under control.

I picked this case up from a neighbor. not sure what it was for. But It works just find for me. I'm still cutting out foam from it to fit the rest of my stuff.

Actually, I would buy such case. For winter flying I'm leaning towards a regular backpack with remote, batteries and a heater and something separate to carry drone outside, so it's always at outdoor temperature.

Mine : bought of Amazon and love it - bought this as I'm not too keen on taking on/off the props all the time. Also : makes a nice solid take off pad.

Everything fits with cutting of a little foam. Tablet and extended ranger. Not the gold ones but the bolt on ones.
