Should I take my drone abroad to Bermuda?

I'm stuck in between a rock and a hard place. I own a p3s. I want to bring my p3s on our 11 day vacation to Bermuda. I officially leave tomorrow on the 24th. Bermuda is a tropical island claimed by Britain. The reason I am unsure about my 11 day stay and my drone is because all my family is advising against bringing it, saying it's going to rain and i wont have time to shoot. I think otherwise. But still, i am second guessing myself because there are over 14mph winds in bermuda, and I dont know if my drone would become a hassle and liability. If anybody could offer some advice, it would be helpful.
