Rth with p4p

I’m flying the p4p and never used the return to home button. Going to try it so my question is if I am say a couple hundred feet away from my home position and press the rth button and it comes back and it is maybe 30 feet in the air coming down to the home position. If I press the rth button again to cancel will the drone just stop where it’s at and hover? So I can just land it on my own?

You only need press and hold the RTH button to initiate RTH. Pressing and releasing the button quickly will cancel RTH.
