Pylons

Does anyone know if you fly near and well under pylons will it affect the radio signals?

At some point the answer would be yes. If they are between you and the aircraft. If your just flying underneath them with no VLOS to interrupt signal then you should be ok. Be prepared to fly in ATTI mode as you'll obviously have no access to GPS signal. So if your location has any breeze what so ever you'll need to compensate for it. Otherwise you'll be fine. GPS is your only loss in flight.
