Problem with new RC

I have had a Phantom 4 Pro Plus for a while and then left the controller in the rain which ruined it. I purchased a new controller and immediately charged it up. When I turned it on, the red light was flashing and the unit is beeping. any idea what to do next?

No, I thought I would probably need to set up the RC before I tried linking it to the AC.

I was able to link the AC, but I still get a blinking red light on the RC and an annoying beeping when I turn on the RC.

Moving the joy sticks eliminated the blinking red status light and the beeping.

When I have both the AC and RC the status light now blinks very rapidly red/then green, when I press fly I get the message, "Unfortunately DJI Go 4 has stopped"..

In the user manual it says when the status light on the RC blinks red/green that the "HD downlink is disrupted" which I don't know how to correct the problem

You will probably find that the replacement AC firmware needs to be updated or your AC does.

I have the most recent AC firmware, and my AC is in great shape. It has always worked perfectly.

If your AC was already on latest FW the controller firmware was the issue- you know what to do next time.
