New Vision + owner here but I was wondering if the V + records sound? I see some youtube videos that have sound (not music) in the background. Is this a setting I can switch or does it not record sound at all?

The ones with sound are recorded with a Go Pro camera. The Phantom 2 Vision+ has a built in camera system that does not record sound.
You could attach a mini sound recorder if you want however the sound of the engines is quite annoying.

or you can use any of the youtube downloaders that are out there and download the audio of..anything..including other flights of Phantoms that had audio (Phantom 1) and add that to your videos. Or even download the audio of real helicopters on youtube and use that audio.
