P4 Firmware Phantom 4 fails update

Hi,

I have a phantom 4 with v1 firmware but using latest version of PC DJI assistant it wont update
I dont have OTG cable so cant use the app
Tried Win 10 & 7 same result
Tried different usb cables same result
Tried latest firmware and version before same result
I have a screenshot but for some reason it wont let me insert an image
failed update

It dowloands to 100% then says update failed, upload error log
click upload error log on Win 10 it doesnt know how to open file, on 7 it uploads successfully but no idea where.....

any suggestions?

I currently have a P4 that is experiencing similar update issues. If and when I resolve this I will post it here.

I was finally able to update via Iphone directly connected to the Phantom via OTG cable.

Power on TX and Drone
plug OTG cable to the Phantom with the other end to your phone
In your DJI Go App... the top part of screen will ask you to update
this update takes a long time, so make sure your phone and drone has enough power

if my instructions are not clear please let me know.
