Phantom 4 can't see outside but fine inside

I recently got a phantom from a friend. But, all of the camera settings say NA across the board and i cant adjust them. It flys fine but I can't see outside it just goes white but looks perfect inside. I also tried updating, through a pc, but after the download stage, it failed.
Please let me know if anyone has some ideas to fix it.

That is the problem. I am unable to change any camera settings, with the wheel or otherwise.

You can change camera settings only when RC is connected with AC and Go 4 app shows connected.

I'm not familiar what you mean by "AC" maybe aircraft. My set up is the controller is connected to the P4 and my phone is connected to the controller running go 4.

If all is connected and you are unable to change cam settings, it points to camera issue.

yeah that's my fear could I be a loose wire or software issue?

I say software issues I have the 3 standard and have video software problems all the time try calling DJI tech support sometimes there pretty good
