Phantom 3 Standard- Weird problem

I did see this yesterday so I took screenshot, things that can prevent linking , you mention it got hot before you fix the gimble wires,do you know what got hot,,well your getting there ,perseverance prevails ,,,I not one for advice on firmware as I avoid it as things can fail , cant advise further on that

It can be linked through the GoApp also.

Does the RC beep when it's trying to link?
Yes the RC beeps and the Link light on the AC blinks red but no connection seems to happen last time I turned it on it did connect and I was able to arm the motors! I think there is something to do with 2 Small antenna wires that connect to the gimbal (the one with gold contacts grey and black)

Might need dab if hot glue to hold it in place or re soilder where it works unless you find some damage there,,good to read it armed up,

I can’t seem to find anything bad with them and they look fine and in their right places

Sweet check the plug itself just to make sure they still Male female and the spike on board not lost his point ,and check where goes on board if still secure. Its possible that when the 8 wire plug got stretched a bit the antenna wires might have to,,can only move so far before they get pulled on,,that's where you might have to find out history on the how hard what ever impact happened, most probably a hard landing ,there's a little module screwed in the bottom of landing gear also but most likely it's up top

Ah sorry those gold plugs are male to female conection,,the Male plug is soildered to the board, the female black wire,,, small pin in middle of plug can snap off into black female wire so even though it connects to board it might not contact the center pin
My example picture show center pin , the conection on the board has centre pin but small version and fragile or it can pull the Male loose on the board due to lack of soilder they use

Wayyy better days 😔, it’s working now I’m almost skeptical the gimbal is on and working well reading the SD card too can the no signal issue also be coming from this cable too?
Myself thinks flat cable is ok but new one cheap for piece if mind, antenna set wont hurt especially if you think its suspect from other post, turn on and wiggle wire about to see if signal comes or goes, those wires are so thin like 1 strand and insulation on wire hard to see if broken unless the wire is
stretchey,I check back soon, trying to do 10 things at once here

Best way get wires all flat together in line , make sure white plastic plug is opposite way up from other end and re insert the wires into plastic plug ,the wires dont criss cross they just stay nice together and should be sweet,I cant remember antenna wire colour,I just check

My wires weren’t ripped except the grey multi wire ribbon so I have some hope
Yeh man I got hope too but does take a good knock on the gimble to pull wires, most gimbles snap off with it so its a survivor , but caution in the wind because once those wires pull there ain't much left to give , ah you'll sort it, you nearly got 👍
