Phantom 3 Pro or Mavic Pro

But isn’t phantom 3 Pro is capable of going as far as Mavic Pro?

I do understand that Mavic is more advanced however for what I do level of P3S is good enough for me. As I stated above all I am looking for is to upgrade range and camera.

In answer to the distance question, yes I believe it can go as far......although I was using the Argtec Extender and it's dangerous to do so, that was a contributing factor to rather disastrous flight of mine back around 6 months ago, and as Nigel pointed out it's against the VLOS rules by which we fly.
But I thought you deserved a direct answer to your question. I have 2 P3P's in flight ready condition, and have seen no reason to "upgrade" to a Mavic or even the P4 series.
