Patch Antennas inside Controller Q's

Does anyone know if the two 2.4ghz patch antennas in the P3S controller, are the exact same part/s as the pair inside the P3S itself ?

I guess the only difference would be the length of the grey & black wires ?

They are different. The ones inside the transmitter are a little smaller and have a thin green board on the back.

I have a small problem.

I have managed to damage one of the tiny ipx ? connectors in my controller.

A friend has a spare P3S airframe with the antennas still in it. I thought we could pull one out and use it to replace the damaged one.

Way too small to solder a new connector. Maybe I can find the antennas online ?

They are called u.fl connectors.

1st, you could maybe call DJI on Monday, see if they can sell you one.
2nd. Put a post right now on the classifieds... maybe, just maybe, someone has one or has a junk transmitter that they could take one out of.

OR

This would be the perfect time for an upgrade. If you are on a tight budget, the Alfa mod is the way to go. If you have a higher budget, the DBS is nice too.

I'll have to get the Argtek or one of the upgrades you mentioned.

That'll teach me for meddling around inside my controller !
