So I have been watching and reading about transmissions and I have seen people make DIY parabolic range extenders I made one and it's not the best but does anyone else have custom ones they have made I'd like to see pictures and design something new. I'm using a phantom 3 standard that's why there is only 1 hole

You can tune the reflector by pointing it briefly at the sun Bend and adjust it until the brightest trace is exactly hitting the antenna. This positioning is critical but they work great. Amazon has several models for about twelve bucks.

Interesting design.
Was searching for something and came across this old thread.
These things been around for awhile. Is not a need to Antenna Booster for Phantom 3
just found it interesting these things ae still being worked with.
I made one for my standard experimenting from a aluminum
turkey pan way back. Looked funny.?
