P4 Gains - what is there function?

I am referring to the various settings for Gain, which varies from 80%-120%. The question is whether the gain affects the stick input control or other inputs like wind, weight (i.e. external sources of movement). Since, I have changed the values of Gain and nothing is changed in the behavior of the drone.

Any ideas?

They control stick response and stability.

Adjust the attitude gains for stick response. The basic gains are for reactions to environment changes during flight.
