Yep. Tried pretty much every firmware

I recently bought a used RC, which turned out being on an older firmware than my AC, but I had no problems linking it to the AC. DJI GO on Android didn't prompt me to upgrade anything, whereas GO on iOS did, and the new RC is now on the same firmware than the AC.

i don't have a p3s but with the p3a and the p3p the ac and the rc do not need to be on the same firmware version number. just wondering if 1.7.9 is the latest rc version for the p3s? like i said i dont have one so i may be way off.

1.9.20 would be the latest firmware
