When i bought my second hand p3s i spent a lot of time to learn about short 40mt range on 5.8 rc signal. My friend gave me a field meter from 1 to 10ghz. After many test i know that the power on bird side was on first leg dipole 15dbm and 2dbm on second leg the rc was perfect at 17 dbm. Afert changing cable and antennas on bird nothing goes better. This problem affect also the signal strenght on bird rotation.

I keep getting a strong interference signal and after like 400 feet says lost signal I have the ARGyek wifi & signal range extender kit with 3 flat panels and 3 Omnis long antennas and worked great got at least 4 times range but since firmware update all missed up I could possibly have a wire come off or loose but before I break it open again just wondering if anyone else has this problem

Very close, I'm trying to follow the steps to download the firmware but I can not go from 1.7.9, since when I try to continue with 1.7.9 with the debug I get on the screen of the app that is 1.8.1 to update . I'm pretty desperate because having this dron and not being able to push it away more than 50 meters because losing the signal is frustrating, I tried with the station of another partner that has it with amplifiers and I still have the same problem, this friend of mine has in his dron Firmware 1.5.7 and today has taken it to his to 6 kms and without a problem. Thank you and I hope your help.

Use this method.. (If the gimbal light is blinking green and red) it is working

NEVER stop a F/W process!!! wait for 1 -3 minutes after the light goes solid red or green... (debug does weird things) If you use my method the app will say it is done.. I would debug 1.5.7..

This many be the Fix for the Compass errors in 1.5.7 for some...
Remember Downgrade to 1.5.7 and then Debug 1.5.7 the update to 1.574..
Possible update to 1.5.75 after...

Ok, so lots of people appear to have successfully downgrade FW from 1.8.n down to 1.5.n Of those, how many actually saw an improvement. Everything I read was that no one seem to get (back) an improved range. If thats true then why bother???

This is a very good question!!!
The answer is...
For me... I wanted everyone to be able to find out for themselves..

But there are other reasons that people do it also

So to clear some confusion, please confirm this is the right order (assuming you start from 1.8.10):

1.8.10 => 1.8.10 + DEBUG
1.8.10 => 1.7.90
1.7.90 => 1.7.90 + DEBUG
1.7.90 => 1.7.94
1.7.94 => 1.6.80
1.6.80 => 1.6.80 + DEBUG
1.6.80 => 1.5.70
1.5.70 => 1.5.70 + DEBUG
1.5.70 => 1.5.74
1.5.74 => 1.5.75

I did all the above until 1.5.70 + DEBUG, but then tried 1.5.75 (did not know about 1.5.74 at that time).
Tomorrow I will try to do 1.5.70 => 1.5.74 and then 1.5.74 => 1.5.75, and will post the results here.
