anyway I got this filmed and I have to say it came out better then I expected

Great! What were your camera settings at? I'd like to send my P3 on a night mission this weekend as well. All of my previous missions have been done during daylight.

Believe it or not I left it on auto. Didn't adjust anything at all, and it seemed to work out great

Yes. It was the 5th Nov, the day in 1605 that Guy Fawkes planned to launch the failed Gunpowder Plot to blow-up the British parliament. It's "celebrated" every year with fireworks.

Nice video. When I shoot at night I turn off the front LED lights so you can't see them in your vids. Yours were visible at the end.

Thanks, Zad! That was done after 11:00pm on a winter, Sunday evening. I did so intentionally to ensure that very few people would be out and about. It was very quiet that night which made for great conditions.

Don't worry... the new regs being considered will probably ground consumer UAV's with >200m range from flying anywhere at anytime.

I do worry. It is because of this sort of behaviour that will lead to new rules being legislated for.

Sorry to disagree with you, but there are far more important reasons for banning their use than one or two of them falling from the sky.
