New Android DJI GO app, vers. 2.4.0

DJI GO version 2.4.0 is available for android as of today (10/23/15). Has anyone tried it?

Disconnect / No Signal problems resolved?

Video Lag?

I have it installed on my tablet and phone but did not try yet.
I keep getting the message to upgrade my remote via usb but I have no idea where to get the upgrade file for remote...

I believe it's built into the firmware upgrade for the p3, you just put it on a usb drive with the firmware in the root of the drive and power it on like you do with the phantom itself.

firmware 1.4.0010 has no remote upgrade info in it.
that is the problem....
Must be a glitch... Will have to wait for the new firmware all together to see if it will upgrade the remote also...

Installed and flew 2 full batteries , no problems to report from my flights all seems good , all firmware and dji go app up to date using nexus 7 lollipop

I just upgraded my RC through the app, that was the first I had done that way. The notes say that will be how you upgraded rc from now on.

The RC upgrade seems to take about 5 minutes, including a brief false 'ending' at 97% if you are listening to beeps rather than on screen progress bar..
When it's finished the first LED turns green and it asks you to reboot.
