I don't visit this thread as often but when I do, I enjoy what I see. It's very interesting to see all the different landscapes, areas and places people are filming & flying.
Jeff, don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you and am a still bit 'heavy' on the panning and turning too. It's clear to see you are in the desert and with all the brown patches.
I thought your sunset video was the best one.
I had my 5th flight this morning and I forgot to turn on the video until the battery was nearly dead.
I went up the highest I've gone so far and missed it all. As the alarm kept sounding and I was down to about 24%, I turned on the video and quickly ascended to around 100 feet. lol. Not as high as earlier but... I'm pretty nervous still and I'm working on my flight skills before I take her too high or too far. The bird in flight almost feels like an extension of myself and I'm actually afraid of heights. AND, I would be crushed if my bird crashed or flew away while way up there. You can easily lose track of it when it's up so high and orientation is difficult. I'm hardly relying on the FPV at all at this time.
