I have just learnt an expensive mistake - P3adv.
I fitted a set of alloy motor mount protectors but found that the original screws were now too short.
So I used a 'guesstimate' and purchased longer ones.
Result; they screwed too far in and into the motors.
An "ESC status error" was displayed and the Phantom became 'ground-bound'.
The motor's would not start.
4 new motors have just been replaced.
There are times when I almost question my own brilliance.
