Left lever locks in down position - need your help!!!

Hi Guys,

I got new PV week ago.
I had one before but i gave it as gift.
This new one's RC is acting strange - it takes several times for me to start it - it does not react for starting levers position at ones so i i have to do it several times before motors start.
And second difference is that when i put left lever down it is getting locked in down position. Is it normal? On my first one it never was like this but for this one it happen all the time when i put the lever down.

To clarify
It's normal with the new controller... a new "feature"
The previous controllers didn't lock in the down position.

I've got the P2V+ with the original controller and it locks in the up and down position.

But i have old controller (no wheel) - John Shaw
And it locks only in down position - Doono

So are you really sure it should be so?
Is not it dangerous when it locks in down position?

Yes. It's just a feature of the newer runs of controllers (with or without wheels). Just use it like normal and when you want to lock it press the stick all the way down.
