So I have been eyeballing everybody's ideas on how to make your own range extender and this is what I came up for myself I went to Walmart and got the cheapest mixing bowl made out of metal I could find. Did some trimming when I got home and gave it a try! I was surprised how great it worked I nearly doubled my range!

Actually it's not covered like it looks in the pic it's just the angle of my camera. I have bought 2 mods since I got a drone and my little idea here worked better then either mod. And much CHEAPER!

I wonder if it would work even better if not so much was cut out, like just enough for the antenna to fit through, and no cut out on the top?
