Imu calibration?

Do I calibrate after firmware update ? I flew it already and it flies good after update , I scared to do imu cal . I always thought if it's not broke don't touch it with this electonic stuff. Any advice wood be great . Thankyou

I've heard from a lot of people in the "know", that after a FW update, the answer is yes, do it.

I always do an IMU after firmware simply because I've heard its the good thing to do. That said if it flew fine after a FW update (stable/horizontal horizon) if i forgot to do an IMU i probably wouldn't bother - Adam

I usually do an IMU calibration after a firmware update with no ill effects, however this time I put the Phantom in the refrigerator for ten minutes prior to calibration, now warmup before start your motors is maybe 30 seconds, great trick! I've since flown probably a dozen batteries worth with no problems at all, some long ones too! Try It!

Do steps #47 and #48 at the link below after installing new firmware. I think it's better to be safe than sorry.
