I NEED A PHANTOM CASE!

I did it for about $100. I combined a Fieldline Tactical Alpha Ops Internal Frame Pack with the foam from an Ebay cheapie, The Fieldline back pack is rugged and has more than enough room for my needs. With this setup, I packed a P2V+ with 4 batteries, 2 chargers, 2 sets of props, a Sony HX400v camera, MacBook Air binoculars, and a lot more. I yomped this rig through 5 SE Asian countries on a grueling 3 week expedition last year..
It fits easily in overhead compartments on jet aircraft and under the seat in ATR-72s.
The Fieldline sell on eBay for less than $50.

There are numerous cheap backpacks on eBay. I wouldn't trust these for anything beyond light duty work, but the foam fits nicely within the Fieldline. These run for less than $50 also. Here's an example.

My hard case is made by Plano. XL pistol waterproof case. I got it for $99 on sale at Cabelas. It has a pressure release valve for air travel as well.

As easy as pulling the foam out with your hands. The foam are pre sliced in grids and semi attached to each other..very easy to customize.
You say its an XL? This says; double pistol case? Is this the one you got..... I fly a lot, do you think it would fit in the overhead compartments?
It will fit a phantom 3, basically you have to remove the foam yourself to form the cut out.
This is a very nice case! I have been looking at those "cheap" backpacks" mentioned above but I like this one better! The pluck foam is great! I have a hard case for my GoPro gear that has it and I love it! I never would have thought a pistole case would be big enough for a Phantom!!! Thanks for posting
Thanks for the tip. I just ordered one. It will be next week sometime before I receive both this and my P3, but once I get it all ready , I will post some pics of the fit.....
What brand of case is it?This is hard case I have made 25 min to do all fit plus a lot of space still.
No brand at all just found on eBay reassembly required so anything you want you are able to do with this case.Layout is your imagination.Thanks
