Does this app: Icarus for Phantom 3S, do the same thing as your program? Or does it approach it in a different way.
Looks like icarus is papatita mod modified to wirk directly from an android phone .... personnaly i will stay with Papatita mod ! He did an awesome job and now he is well known in the community.
And i have an iphone lol but anyway even with an android phone i won't use the mod [emoji51]

It is very similar to the "P3S_27dBm_Updater" built by PapaTita and friends.
If so, would an acknowledgment or thanks to the builders be nice ...

Installed it to my drone tablet, but have not run it yet. Also downloaded MagicPower 4.0, but didn't run that either. Kind of concerned about bricking my RC or AC with either to be honest. On the acknowledgment issue, you never know if the code is the same or it's a different approach to the same ends. That would be key in you question of acknowledgment, IMO.
Since you're in the states and on FCC like myself, I wanted to ask if you did this mod and how it worked for you. Any errors or other issues with the install? Did making the drone set to 24dBm help? Also have the DBS installed w/o amps.

- Is 27 dB a high dose of radiation?
- Is the 20 dB recommended setting better than stock CE?

So yes 20 dbm is better, that's the default for FCC mode

No need to be sorry, I can take it! So why is 20 recommended and not 27 then? If there is no real danger?
So you're not putting extra stress on your equipment if not needed. And since DJI designed the equipment to run at 20 in FCC mode. It's like when you overclock a PC, it runs faster but maybe at the cost of the equipment.
