How to update firmware without adapter?

On DJI GO4 it says there is a new firmware(02.00.0106) and it says to use adapter cable accessory. I dont have this cable adapter !? i bought my P4 used, should that adapter been there?

What can i do to update? or do i need to get this cable?

You'll need an OTG cable if you want to update the firmware using DJI GO. Without that cable, you can update the firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 application like this. If needed, you can download the DJI Assistant 2 installer from the P4 downloads page.

I had the same problem and found an OTG cable on Amazon for $5.99 that would allow me to connect the Phantom 4 to an iPad or iPhone. Below is a link to the item.
