How to get Active Track to follow something?

Right now, when I use Active Track, it seems to only stay in place and pan to where the object is moving. But how do I get it to actually move/follow the object in addition to panning?

I see. Perhaps I just highlighted the target and didn't tap "GO". Make sense. I'll do that next time.

Also, they say to fly around your subject so it learns the 3D pattern of you, or car or whatever. The only problem is when, when do you do this, between the blocked thing your gonna trac, and hitting "go" or after? I'm not sure but the info seems solid, if you want a better trac, you can have subject do a 360 in front of camera, or you can fly around subject to get a better 3D pattern
