I bought a super cheap $20.00 toy drone to learn on, and so far, so good. Have flown it indoors and outside with no crashes. If the weather holds I think everything will work out OK with the P3P.

I guarantee, that $20 is much harder to fly. If you can fly IT, you will have a great time.
