How do I remove video clips from the memory card

After my first flight I removed the micro memory card from the P4 and stuck it into my pc (Mac)to view.
First flight and all went well.
Coped the clips from the card ok but want to delete them before next flight. Right mouse click but no delete option. Drag to bin but says they are protected. Is there a special way to delete or reformat the card.

That sounds like the tiny lock tab on the side of the SD card adapter was in the lock position?
If you move that, you'll be able to delete or format in the computer next time.

Mine arrived with the tab in the lock position too, probably it

I would advise you format the card in the bird and not the pc. I have had issues with cards not being recognised in in other camera equipment after this process. To be 100 percent sure always format a new card and only in the device you wish to use the card in to be on the safe side.
