Running 2.4.2 for DJI GO and 1.3.2 firmware. I'm a newbie .. just got bird Monday (haven't flown yet 70mph winds here in the Rockies) Do I need to install 1.4 first or can I go straight to 1.5?

you can go straight to 1.5 and down load and up date it.

".bin" and "extract" are new operational terms for me. I have a iMac. Downloaded 1.5 file. It shows as a .bin-file. According to my research on ".bin" and "extract", I needed to drop the .bin file from DJI into a folder which allowed me to "extract" a file that resided in the .bin .. P3X_FW_V01.05.0030.bin.cpgz. Is this the file I drag onto my SDHC card? Or is it as simple as dragging the .bin from DJI to the SDHC?

You need to open the ZIP file and drag the BIN into the root of your memory card.
Thanx. All I had to do was read the wonderful link you sent me. My Mac automatically unzips stuff when they're downloaded. Seeing the .bin kinda threw me.
