I use Firefox with https everywhere and noscript extensions installed. It takes some getting used to but blocks most of the ads.

What do you use chrome? DOn't say Internet Explorer dirkclod. Youtube ads you can't get around but for porn and news sites it blocks the pop ups and streaming ads
