Garmin Glo

I am considering buying an Apple iPad mini 4 wifi only and then using a Garmin Glo via Bluetooth to connect to GPS. Has anyone else tried this and does it work?

iPad with cellular is $130 more than without. The Garmin is $95.
So for the $30 difference, I would get the w/ cell and then not subscribe to the service.

Yes, it works to allow Follow Me and to change the home point to the location of your RC. It seems that the most talked about here on the forum are Bad Elf, Dual and the Garmin GLO. Just search and you will see plenty to read for research if you want to look into that option.

Yes it will work fine, I used the Dual.
I ended-up doing what sonof40 said, bought the cellular version and don't subscribe to any service.
I guess I should sell my Dual.
